Blogging Challenge Day 7

Preschool teams LOVE preschool books.  i loved reading to my own children.  There are beautiful picture books that one can make up a story and very silly books to have children laugh while reading.
READING IS FUN.

Summer Plans include Enjoying Summer.  We have been doing stay cations and going downtown chicago to bike ride and to a out door concert.  We have been enjoying lots of time outside for sure!

My pompons come out for my favorite teams of the Chicago Blackhawks.  I really am a Chicago fan. i don't necessarily watch a whole game but i always want them to win!!

I hope i can make it up to Big Time Literacy and post a few posts at one time! 4th of July festivities overtook my blogging time!
My favorite subjects to learn is language arts.  i love to read and write and learn new words.
who else enjoyed "diagramming" sentences when they were young.  Be Brave and admit that you were in school that long ago!

Blogging Challenge Day 2

Our family will be celebrating 4th of July with fireworks and a holiday party with friends and family.
This is a tradition that we have had for the last 18 years since we are lucky to be able to see the fireworks  from our town in our very own backyard!

I am an EIU Panther from Charleston Illinois.  I have been in education for 30 years as a School Psychologist, Director of Special Education and now Assistant Superintendent in South Berwyn 100.
It has been exciting to watch Berwyn grow into a dynamic and culturally diverse city.
